Not even pipe dude, just the canister. these bikes don't have slip on systems like other ones, they are solid the whole way down. I never really bought into the horespower gain from a complete system anyway. I mean I am sure it's there but I'm not paying 1-2 thousand for it...

Got this from bikerbuys.com which actually connects to ridegear.com somewhere during the checkout. Through free shipping and 15% discount code "15DISCOUNT" it wen't down from the list price of $281 to $238.39 shipped.

Like I said I really wanted the carbon canister to match my frame but just too expensive for me.

Cant remember the brand, but it has the microwave motion sensor, 2 way LED pager and immobilizer. Pretty much everything I needed. Getting it for around 80 bucks, not too bad.

Yeah that site is kind of hard to navigate...

http://www.bikerbuys.com/motorcycle_...-02__98-02.htm

Then use "15DISCOUNT" as the discount code, that'll drop it down to $238. That is the CHEAPEST I have found it and I looked for a LONG time man...good luck!

Yes this bike is STILL progressing...

Ordered my alarm. Spy, don't remember the model number. It has the microwave proximity alarm, immobilizer and 2 way pager. Everything I needed.

Also threw in some footpegs. I got "titanium" color, 2nd from the right.

Wouldn't the titanium ones be the 2nd from the left?

Okay so I am back in Kansas and back at it.

I put my wheels back on. Damn this thing is low! I might have to raise the back up one notch on my lowering links, I am going to wait until I put the plastics back on to see how it sits. I haven’t lowered the front yet either, waiting to do that as well.

Ran into a little problem with my footpeg on the driver side, when I put it on it was allowed to swing down too far. So I welded a small shim onto the inside of the bracket so the peg would hit it sooner and therefore stop at the straight point. Heres pics with the camera phone, sorry.

Sitting WAYY too low.

Shim welded into bracket.

New rest height. It sits a LITTLE high now, but I am going to grind the peg itself downa little tonight to even it out.

Also installed my alarm, DAMN that thing is loud. It had a voice speaker too, but the voice is an asian chick and as hot as it sounds it gets a little annoying. If anyone has any questions about installing an alarm on a bike hit me up, I didn’t get much help from the forums but I figured it out pretty good. I also used the microwave motion sensor and starter disable. This alarm reaches my pager/remote froma half mile! Now I will know if someone is fukking with my shit in my garage from home!

Heres a few general pics. Oh yeah put the exhaust on. It sounds gret. I still want to wrap the pipe itself, going to order that stuff on tomorrow.

Paint is DONE! I go pick it up tomorrow, throw the plastics on and take the bike back for the airbrushing, final clearcoat and buffing. SO CLOSE!!!

Oh yeah, got my jacket in the mail. Mistagged, the damn thing was a medium! I didn't like it much anyway so I sent it back and am exchanging it for this. All leather, more my style really and only 20-30 bucks more.
