Now need to get the bike and a list of mods for the bike: HIDs, AngelEyes, full exhaust (thinking Micron), pc3
that'll get me started.

I tried the web site also but cannot get thru. I wonder if they have a direct number of cleggs since you didn't seem happy with the guys you ordered from.

I can't personally comment on the oven thing... I was skeptical about putting my headlights in the oven.

I used a heat gun... it was easier to control how much heat I wanted and where. It may take a little longer, but I felt more comfortable with it.

The oven thing wasn't that bad I think it was 175 but may have been 140, either way it's really not that hot you can almost work on them right out of the oven it's like they were sitting in the sun a while but yeah a heat gun would work. Now that I've done it the oven thing isn't bad at all and the heat is even you don't have to worry about going around and around it.

I preheated the oven then put them in for a few minutes? they give a specific time and temp in the install directions and it works well the way they suggest.

You might try going to McCoymotorsports.com (tobefast) and try there support link and ask for the writen install instructions there used to be a direct link to it but it seems to be down also? I downloaded acopy from there before I bought them.

Yeah I tried there site to You can try customdynamics.com they carry them also they only show the ones for the R1 but I think they have the 14 version also and they have a cool selection of other led setups. Like the micro 3 and 9 leds I put in the intake.

Good luck let me know if I can help with anything else

yo, guys, my new bike has just arrived. I have never seen this color in my life. If the light is not too bright, it's almost black. In sunshine, it can get metallic sparkling electric blue or indigo. It's so hard to describe it.... Nevertheless, I'm glad they don't make black anymore in 2008.... it's beautiful... I'm so speechless....

there is a little problem, how do you deactivate the low beams? They are permanently on on my bike.... and the whole angel eyes effect goes to hell... do I have to put an extra switch, I presume?

Yes, if you want your Angel Eyes to stand out... you need a separate switch put in and run them from there.

Did you hard wire yours into your headlights so that they are only one when your headlights are one? These are meant to accent your bike when it's not on... and you have the option to turn them on when running.

I drilled and mounted a switch in my fairing panel to the left and forward of my handlebar. Can send you pics if you need.

I ran a wire from the battery through a fuse to a toggle switch mounted in one of the dimples in the panel to the left of the instrument cluster. Added some quick disconnects so you can take it apart. then you can have them on with or without the headlights. The eyes are still visible with the dims on you only see the ones on the bright bulbs but it still looks good.
