Canyon carver zx-14?

Took my 14 up around the canyons today, was with my dad and his Ducati 1098. We switched bikes on the way down, man what a fun bike that 1098 is in the twisties! Yes, being 100 pounds lighter than the zx14 means it will handle better in the turns, but the 14 is no slouch either for such a big bike. But still I found myself wondering what I could do to set up the bike more for the canyon roads. Ideas?

i think mag wheels would help a lot no? take away from the stability at the speeds the thing is capable of. tires first though! but what would make a 14 sharper and last longer than a day?

My 2007 zx14 has a number of mods for handling - an axxion AK-20 front, ohlins rear, GPR damper, Galespeed type c wheels, pilot powers and a brocks smeg which reduces weight. It made a huge difference.

I had a ZX11C1 and it handled really well in the twisties. I would imagine that the 14 would be better.
