Newbie Questions

Hello, I just picked up my '08 Silver bike monday evening, lovin every minute of it.

I'm interested in an undertail kit, a different windshield and probably a few other odds and ends along the way.

I'd like to hear and possibly see what all undertail kits and windshields people are using. I'd realy like a silver windshield, if you happen to have seen one.

I'm sure I'll have a million more as time goes on.

The only undertail I have seen is the Hotbodies one. Pretty nice. Comes with a fender eliminator kit. Only thing you have to get is a LED light to illuminate your plate.

As for a shield, there should be something out there. I am sure there is something. Try some of the vendors here on this site and if you don't see anything, do a google search for Kawasaki ZX14 windscreens. I am sure you will find more than you ever wanted to.

You can actually remove the plate assembly and make your own I made one out of two small peices of metal painted them and bolted it to the factory holes. Looks great and very clean like a plate floating in the air. Used the "Lite bolts" lighted plate bolts to light it up and added two blue leds for accent in the bottom two holes of the plate so nothing on the under tail at all.
the windscreen is hard to say there are so many to get I have a double bouble style in chrome finish and like it very much.
