My Shock Racing eliminater looks pretty good with it's rough textured flat black finish. But it's advertised as being lightweight aluminum, but actually an extremely heavy plate of steel that probably weighs as much as the old big original fender. For $79.99 usd you don't get much. Most others come with a new license plate light. The LP one is billet aluminum and around $50.
i made my own using existing parts, took the fender apart, remounted bracket under seat, fender, even remounted the light(drilled bigger hole)and it works good and is legal in my state

I looked at Muzzy's and Competition Werkes. Wound up buying the Competion Werkes. Seems a bit pricey for what it is, but it is definitely a high quality part. Comes with a new (and smaller) license plate light. I think the Muzzy uses your stock light. I'm sure you could make your own for very little $$. I simply don't have time to mess around with it and I'm in the middle of other mods right now. Good luck!!
It took me an hour to make one for a galvanized L bracket used for fence rails. First I put it in the bench vise and sqweezed it to get the proper angle. Next, I drilled a hole for the tail light two for the liscense plate bracket and two to secure it to the bike. I spray painted it black to match the rest of the bike. Total cost less than $5 bucks. Installation is very straight forward and takes less than 1/2 and hour.
