flies out

thanks felt it was a dumb question finding out the tre tricks the ecu into thinkiing it 's in 6th gear in order to open the flies , but i also felt there may be more of a gain if the tre was also used

Thumbs up

you can leave it in...also depends on which tre. the gipro and the 008 are both designed to run higher gear maps, to open flies sooner. the 006a is designed to be run with the flies out. don't forget about the main thing the tre is doing...t.iming r.etard e.limination. has benefits whether the servo is opening flies or not.

In a sense, it's good BUT the reason why there's a secondary butterflies are to tame initial power delivery/launching. Kawa officials are afraid inexperienced riders might not be able to handle it's initial power. With flies in, power comes at 3500rpm but with flies out, power comes almost immediately. Throttle input will be very sensitive.

Anyway, it all depends on the rider.

Browse thru previous threads for flies removal. This has been discussed repeatedly by zx14 members.
