Power Commander V

Anyone using a power commander V on an 2008 zx14. Aren't they the exact same bike? The power commander web site says 2009 or later.

I have an 08 with a PC5. Bought it from Fuel Moto and came with 6 maps already loaded in the PC.
Easy to install and I am a professional dummy at wrenchin.

I'd take that part about "came loaded with 6 maps" with a grain of salt. I bought mine from Fuel Moto as well and never did receive a map that I requested many many times. I finally gave up and got a map from Muzzy. Mine only came with one map originally.

Got one on my '08. It will work on '09 or '08 just fine.

What kind of performance increase do you get with the PC V and a custom map without changing pipes?

I have a friend with a busa who says he picked up 15 hp with just the PC and custom map.
