Need an oil filter for my 07 zx14
I am looking for oil filters that will work with my 2007 zx14. I just got the bike used and want to switch it to 100% synthetic mobil oil. I can't find a list anywhere of compatible oil filters. I heard some guys use car oil filters and I'm not sure if that's good. Which brands are best.

I use KN, it has the filter media compatible with synthetic oil. KN-303. The chrome one is KN-303C

I believe Super Tech is made by Champion. It actually has a very good rating for only a couple bucks.

Has anyone tried these filters? I'm afraid of using car filters. I am probably wrong but would like to hear from someone that uses them.

If you're not sure just go with mad's advice and visit your dealer.
Tons more info in the oil section of the forums

I have used the Kawa filters, the SuperTech 7317 from Wal*Mart, and K&N 303. By FAR, the ST7317 is the most back pocket friendly and is ALSO a quality filter...two sources of manufacture, I believe...Bosch and Champion. Another plus for the Super Tech filter is that is it just slightly longer than the others and thereby gives you somewhat enhanced filtering and cleaning. I have used the SuperTech filters on both of my 14's and on my Honda Goldwing as well as a Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic...great filter...especially for the price. Rock

Use the K&N it's a good filter and way easier because you can take it off with the same socket as the drain plug.....For the little extra cash it save's the pain in the ass factor...
