Yoshimura vs Akrapovic full system

Next step is exhaust. Any ideas which one of these is quieter or should I just get slip ons? I hate loud exhaust.

I believe there are more options with Yoshi for volume, but my full race Akro is far from what I would call loud. Louder than stock, but unless you're wringing the piss out of it there's nothing obnoxious about it. My vote is for Akro.

As JBear said, but I only have the full Yosh R77. With baffle in it's quiet just like stock. Baffle out not too much louder. My vote is for, um, well, if I did it again I'd spend a bit more and whichever I chose it would be full titanium (mine is stainless) with c/f silencer.

Ok, I have decided on the akrapovic exhaust but I am not sure if I should go full system or slip ons. Also, if I go full system, is it worth the money to go titanium? Has anyone run the full system with the stock fuel map? Akropovic has told me that no change in fuel map is required. Anyone out there prefer two pipes and regretted taking one off? Two pipes is a few decibles quieter than the racing system which is nice for me. I am so confused.

I'm running the full system without a remap, and it runs awesome. Noticeable improvement with the Akro race system across the board. I did get a PC3 and downloaded the appropriate map, and it ran like crap. Poor idle, poor throttle response, less power, rich as a pig and killed my mpg. Pulled the PC3 and it ran like a million bucks again. Granted, I'm sure improvements could be made with a custom tune on a dyno, but on my 10R at least it was far from necessary. As for titanium, it does sound a little different and it's marginally lighter. On a whale like the 14, I'm not sure if it would be worth it or not. On the one hand it's so heavy that every little bit helps, but on the other hand, relatively speaking, when it's that heavy what difference will a few pounds here or there make? I say go with whichever one you find a better deal on.

I think I decided on the slip on akropovic. I know the full system gives you a bigger bang for the buck but slip ons are easier to take off and on and 5hp and a few lbs is not worth the hassle if I have warranty issues. I have a 3 yr warranty and dealership said slip ons ok but full system not so much.
