Sister in law turns to the dark side
So my sister in law got into riding last year (thanks to me) and has taken the course and now has a year of riding under her belt.
The only problem was she had an 84 Virago 1100. Nice, but not like sport bike.
So after riding with me quite a bit, and speaking to a lot of my women friends who all ride sport bikes, she decides to get one. I have spent a fair bit of time going over bikes with her, thinking that sometime she would find the perfect bike for her.
Well, today she found it. And I have to say, I love the color, exact same as my 14. She got it with about 6000 kilometers on it, and it looks to be in very nice shape. She is going to pick it up tomorrow.
Have to say, I am very proud of her for making the switch.
What do you think?

Nice! I looked at that bike for my wife but she decided to go for the Yamaha FZ6R (said it looked better!). The 650R is a safe bike to start sport riding on.

I thought the 650R had more torque than the FZ6R too.

Looks great!
Make sure you also teach her the proper way to remove disk rotor locks.

OOOWWWWWCCCCCCHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a great slam.
Yes, I will remember to teach her that. Wow, you guys are vicious! LOL.
Glad to hear that she should be happy with it. Seeing as I told her to buy. She had to drive 5 hours north of her place to get, she should be on the way home with it now. Now if I could only get her to move out here so we can ride together more often. If it were not for her husbands job they would be here already, but he is a severe diabetic and would not be able to get on another group health plan that easily.

Nice bike Great for a newbie... I love the cadence of a good old twin 650. With the right exhaust you could get it to sound like a Triumph Scrambler... Very nice bike.. the 650'r is a great value for the money... .<Speedy><

Well done to your SIL I get a feeling she will love the handling of her new bike.
