06/07 slip-ons fit an 09

Maybe someone here would know the answer?

My Buddy has an 09 and he found a great deal on some Ti-Force slip-ons but they specify 06/07 model.

Will they fit an 09?

To me the bike has not changed much in appearance but perhaps there is a good reason to think the stock header is different?

Thanks!

I would say no since the outlets on the head pipe for the 08's and newer changed and are now a bigger diameter but some might argue and say they will fit.

From experience, no they will not..... Without modification. I had a 09 that I unknowingly purchased yosh trc slip ons from a 06/07 for and much to my dismmay the outlet on the stock system had been increased just enough to make it imposible. I did however manage to get them on by extending the cuts in the slip ons then taking them to an exhaust shop and hving them streched and re welded. All in all not worth it, but I already had the pipes and was not able to return them so... I hope that helps. 2WW

Thanks!

How did you like the 09 14 compared to your 10? I owned an 09 Busa, just wondering what you liked or did not like about the 14 compared to your 10, here is mine.

I liked the 14 it just ended up not being what I wanted. The seating was awesome and allowed for very comfortable body position. But in the end it just really didnt fit the type of riding I enjoy. I am diggin your 10, I really like that color scheme. Mines plain Kawi green.

He could buy a 06- 07 header and fit that. That would be less restrictive too since there is no cat in it.
Cheers
