A long shot but have to ask.

For anyone who has done the conversion to the smaller front fender from a 6 r 10 and does not like it. I would like to purchase your adapters. Found a fender for a decent price. Found out the adapters are a little pricey. If anyone has a set lying around and wants to sell it cheap. Please let me know.

Thanks,
Eric

Not sure how true it is but I've heard that guys put their 14 fender back on after trying the smaller fenders. I guess a noticeable difference in stability at higher speeds.

Heard that too. Not to threadjack, but superbikes, etc race up to and above 200mph with no "lifting" due to aero...wierd. Must say I like the clipped/"normal" front fender look too though vice our big honkin' one.

fenders

I used the stock brackets with my swap-and a zx10 08 fender.Slightly different in design from the previous years. All I can say is-FOR ME-when I hit approximately 150 mph,my front end began to weave(and slip side to side about an inch or so both ways).Went home and removed the fender-reinstalled the stocker-took er back out to past 150-solid as a rock.My experience with the 08 zx10 fender.Other earlier model years may be totally different in results.I'm 175 with gear on.Full tuck while testing.Weight over the tank(me)
