4: 2 last year, 2 this year. 1 each year in Illinois, 1 last year in Colorado, 1 this year in Idaho. All radar. Avg. cost-$200 apiece. No points yet. Point avoidance costs more initially, but insurance costs eat that and more over time. The first one would have cost $75 to pay outright and around $600 in increased insurance premiums, so $800 total for 4 is money well spent.

lol oh man.... i used to pride my self on this fact! now i just look like an idiot; that can't learn...
Now i started driving at 15 (South Dakota Native!!)
last week i recieved my 26th citation... I went to school North Dakota got 5 there I grew up 10 miles from Wyoming border i have 2 there i have 15 in SD. I now live in KS i have 2 here and 2 in Nebraska. I have been pulled over so many times.... also want to note that not all are speeding, a few exhibition (for smoking the tires) once got ticket cuz a drove through somebodys yard. dumb dumb dumb...
So many differant states they don't care as long as you pay the fine hence the reason i still have a lisense.
ND speeding inside a 10mile window its 85 bucks 5 bucks for every mile after.
SD speeding sucks don't do it!(i just know that 85 in a 75 is exactly $98 i have several of these tickets) i want to say that my worst ticket was 95 in a 65 construction zone ouch... 280 bucks plus i had to go to court *note it was 1am no workers i wasn't out to kill! also got my Jeep stuck in the mud in the hills, that ticket was 390 from a park ranger.
KS speeding 60 bucks plus 5 bucks for every mile over the speed limit (most recant 71 in a 60 115 dollars)
NE cant recall cuz the speed limit is ultra gay
WY breeze it was like 75 bucks for each ticket that was a long ago...
Now i will say that i have only one ticket on the BIKE!!!!!!!!! Trans Am and s-10 different story.
needless to say I knew all the cops back home
also add that my insurance is 188 a month Full coverage Trans Am and 07 ZX-6R and liabilty on the 05 636 and renters

you pay a good lawyer to plee the fine down from a pointed violation to one that wont cost points or higher insurance. such as a speeding ticket, they will bargain it down to a seatbelt ticket. i had a buddy that got a speeding ticket on his bike and ended up walking away with a seatbelt violation lol

Ive gotten a few, all from speeding. I've gotten a 70 in a 55 (ninja 250), 77 in a 55 (zx6r), 65 in a 40 (zx6r) which i wouldnt have gotten if my gurl wasnt on the back . I dont remember how much i paid for them but i think they were between 190-250. And then my most recent one that really pissed me off was the 96 in a 55. Me and a friend were riding on the outskirts of town and we leave from a stop sign that was across from a gas station with 3 pigs sittin in the parkin lot. We took off normal from the stop sign and after we passd it up and got behind the trees we both nailed it. We got about 1 1/2 miles up the road and i see him nail it again and take off. i didnt see the lights in my mirrors bc i was laying on the tank. I got nervous and started to run, thats when i hit '96mph'. then i realized "dashboard cameras, licenseplate visible, doesnt pay to run...." so i stopped on the road cus there was no shoulder. First cop passed me up and blocked both lanes of the road, got out his car and drew his gun and started yelling at me . my buddy got away and i took the heat. Ticket for 96 in a 55, no inspection sticker, improper display of license plate, and sumthen about my led's i had on my bike at the time. He named like 2 or 3 things he could have given me a ticket for. He also said that in louisiana, anything +40 is grounds for him to arrest me and bring me to jail and have my bike impounded. The reason he didnt (he said) was because my buddy ran and i didnt so it made me seem like a good person. I ended up paying $750 and wasting a saturday in driving school again. Sorry for the long post....

Well over the last 5 years I have had one reckless driving ticket (its a long story) (doughnuts in front of my brothers house) and four speeding tickets which the fastest was 87 in a 55. One improper lane change tied to a evading (thinking I was trying to run). Lastly I guess one more reckless driving for passing a cop at over 90 mph on one wheel (should he have caught me) LOL. The good news is my neighbor of 6 years is one of the best attorneys around and has made sure not one of them has stayed with me.....And the very best part is he is the guy I ride with most of the time and is crazier than I am!!!!

Last one this year was 85 had just left construction zone he said I was still in it when he clocked me that was total bullshit then he pointed out he had a camera crew in his car taping it so I told him (politely as I could) to bring the tape to court with him because I was telling my lawyer he had it and I wanted the judge to see the two mini vans that I moved over to let pass as we passed the trooper clockin us. He never even turned in the paperwork to the court on that ticket. Whether or not the video destroyed his case or not I'll never know I just know I had 2 speeds already in my truck no less and that would have been bad if it had been in the construction zone 20+ over so I feel lucky no less. That was my first ticket on a bike ever in over 25 years of street riding (great! now I jinxed myself forget I said that)

I have gotten 2 on my zx14 one last year and one this year. cop passed me radar was 52 in a 35 he brought it down to a 45 in a 35. I just paid it and forgot about it. then about 2am cop in clocked me at 83 in a 65. thought about running no cars him in a explorer but still took him about 4 mile to catch up to me. with me still doing about 83-85 but I pulled over before he put he lights on and get talked to me like a normal person and knocked the ticket down to 75 in a 65 and talked about the bike a bit. I just paided it and I have slowed down till next year only one ticket a year I say

95 in a 65 one time. Cop was civil enough with me, but still wrote me the ticket. Was about 250 and a waste of a day to get it taken care of. I've been pulled over only one other time but didn't get a ticket thank god, even though I was missing inspection sticker, reflectors, and had my license plate improperly mounted.

I get one speeding ticket a year for the last three years, but there was a five year period of none.
One doing 74 in a 55 (Mustang), two doing 70 in a 60 (VTX). None on the 14, but I've been doing 120mph + by cops and they don't move. Either I got lost in traffic or they didn't want to bother. But if the 14 is moving, it's going 90mph, with 5000 miles this season it's amazing I've not been pulled over. A couple of times I've been doing 170mph (indicated) or more and started to get close to a town, slowed down to the limit and there's a cop on the side, none the wiser. Whew.... Now she's sleeping in the living room under a cover. :(
