I guess i could google it but what the heck is a bonneville pro?
How did you remove the speed limiter? I've only been to 145 so I guess it doesn't matter.
I noticed a difference with the helibars. Glad you like them. I also used my throttlemeister today. It's not cheap but it's so simple a caveman can do it. It's not a true "speed control" but does the trick to hold the throttle in place and give your hand a break.

Muzzy bonneville pro. It can adjust your speedo for sprocket changes etc but also removes limiter. I wonder what the top end speed of a zx14 is without the limiter? I was doing 280kph in 5th gear quite easily when I was on a straight stretch one day but those opportunities are quite rare.

No, but my Yosh R77 is just as quiet as stock if the baffle is left in. Not much louder with it out.

I like the looks of the yosh. I am thinking slip ons though. It might be a good choice

Mad, How does the Full R77 exhaust sound without the baffles? Had two brothers slip ons on my 06 zx14 and loved the sound. Had some good throat to them all through the band in my opinion. Just got an 09 zx14 and I am considering putting a different set on them just to get something different. Been looking around and am considering akra, yoshi or vance and hines. Thanks!

With the baffles it sounds factory. Without it sounds deep and throaty but NOT loud. Friends comments have been of the variety "sounds great, deep, powerful...but not loud and obnoxious at all".

Try some pazzo levers, sure noticed a big difference when I upgraded my brakes to Galfer wave rotors/pads, Goodridge lines and then the pazzos. I think I could actually feel the stock levers bend under heavy braking, as I do not get that feeling with the Pazzo's.
Are you in Langley BC? Or Langley WA? Pazzo levers are made in Langley BC.
Also, I live on Vancouver Island, and sometimes get over to the mainland, we could meet up for a ride sometime if you are in BC.

I actually like the stock levers. I have pazzo's on my speed triple and like them. I put on the goodridge lines. I am happy with the brakes the way they are now. I will most likely upgrage the pads and rotors when the stock ones wear out.

I'm with you. I have CRGs on my other bike(s) and LOVE them. That being said, the black, adjustable levers on the 14 are quite nice for factory stuff. I'll spend the $200 on other mods like you have listed first.

Does your power commander make the fuel mileage worse? I wouldn't mind a quiet full system but I don't want to lose a lot of range either. Or low end power which I love. It would be nice to lose some weight though.

the m4 gp style slip ons have an awesome sound to them. they have a mean growl when idling and sound scary as hell when going 130mph. me and a buddy switched bikes one day and he flew past me on mine and i was like damn!!!! that sounds good.
