Hi,
I've got the center stand. It's a must when your doing long trips, especially on your own. Lubing the chain is a pain in the a** with just the side stand.
I know, I had a ZX-12R which had no center stand.

I have it and don't have any issues whatsoever... the footpeg will touch first, fwiw.
You lose the little wing (body panel) but very practical.
Check link in my signature for some pictures.

did he put his feet on it before taking the curve instead of keeping them on the footpegs ?
I've been to the Shannonville + Mt-Tremblant track and haven't had any issues.

I had one for two years Great to have it for adjusting the chain etc and parkiing in unstable ground like hot asphalt and gravel...Much more stable.. but I had to remove it to install some Soupys Performance adjustable links so I could raise and lower the rear ride height.. I never had any issues with the stand dragging and I drag the pegs all the time' <Speedy><

I do long hauls, so a center stand is essential. Does anybody know if the OEM compatible center stand kit out there is compatible with the dual drag retro M4 slip ons? I've just scoped the parts out and it looks like the stand will hit at least one muffler and there is no parallel retention bar to keep the stand from going too far and in once it's kicked up.
Thoughts? Please?

Damn center stand does not fit with lowering links. I have 2 sets of stock links that are gonna get cut and welded so I can fit the CS on the 14.
Downfall is it will probably be hard to get up on the stand with the bike being lowered.

I use the center stand with Staintune slipons. There is no retention bar here either, but i just let the curvy part of the stand (the one you put your foot on) rest aganst the exhaust.
