Slip- on exhaust

Hey Guys,

I just installed a set of Scorpion slip on's onto my '07 14. I noticed that the bike is running kinda lean now, there's a bit of raw fuel coming out of the pipes now when you rev it up in the form of dark smoke. Is this pretty common with slip ons? do you actually NEED a power commander? I like the sound, I was just wondering if it running lean would hurt the motor at all after a while. I don't really have the cash for a power commander right now. Any advice would be appreciated.

New pipes will smoke for a little while .
Shouldnt have changed the motor much asyou just added slipons. the Fuel air should auto adjust if I remember correctly.
The I had just installed yoshi slipons and they smoked for a 50 miles + or - as I was just doing short trips that week

not sure on mine, i didn't see anything obvious with the pipes, but they do have more of an open flow so i am sure it will let out a little smoke here and there. i heard with the fuel mixes now days that it just burns different from back in the day.

I have a set of Scorps slip ons and I think if I remember they smoked just a bit till they got hot and ran a while. I bet you like the sound they are great pipes and made to help performance from a good company that has been around the tracks in the UK for a long time. Enjoy
