Exhaust recommendations

Hello fellos ZX14r riders. I have a beautiful 2013 (red) 14r completely stock except for a GIVI top case on the back for my weekends away.

I would like to replace the stock exhaust system, or perhaps just the cans. I will accept a system that is slightly louder if I must but do not want a a loud bike. Appearance is important, first class construction and fit is very important, and if there is more power that's fine but the bike is plenty powerful. I have 7K on the bike and love taking the bike for sports riding weekends in New England and PA, VA, etc.. I cannot say that I shred the tires but I do roll along nicely.

Let me know your thoughts and opinions. Much thanks in advance.

That leaves Graves exhaust out of the equation

It's really a personal choice on looks. I would recommend you make sure your selection has easy to remove/install noise reduction baffles so you can run em load when you want and quieter when you want. Most aftermarket cans, even with the chokes in, will be loader and a different tone than the stock pumpkin chuckers

Second w/ EZ on the Delkevic or even Yoshi; in my opinion, not too loud. Oh wow, Westport, I'm not too far from there. Let me know when you want to take a Sunday morning spin.

Sound, and looks, are subjective. I once had D&Ds on a Blackbird and many said it was too loud but I thought they were just right. I have Two Brothers Black Series on my ZX14 (Carbon Finish) and again, some think they are loud but not me. Try YouTube and you can probably find some examples, even if it is not a ZX14 since the Blackbird for an example sound pretty close since it has an inline 4 - my last Bird had Two Brothers and it sound just like my current ZX14.

thanks for the offer of a ride! Maybe this weekend? The weather has been hit or miss, with a lot of rain.

And thank you for the responses. I want to keep the bike as a 4 into 2 exhaust. Every time I have heard a sport bike that has been converted to 4 into 1 the loudness factor cannot be controlled very well.

I have the bike now for 3 years and have finally grown to hate the look of the stock exhaust, and I have the upgrade bug.

Yep, after four years I now hate the looks of the stock exhaust. I want to upgrade, don't mind spending the money, and it sure is cheaper than a new bike. And there is no other bike I would want.

Coffman's are nice if you like the shorty look and they're not to loud. My brother has the m4 which I also think looks decent but is definitely louder.

I shed 28 pounds NET going with Delkevic tri ovals duals in 13". You might want to try the longer can version because the 13" sounds awesome. Build quality is first class, fit is easy and the bike handles better without 38 pounds of French 75 hanging off the back.

I've tried Orient Express, Tsukigi, Two Bros slipons and finally a Hindle. The Two Bros slips were by far the loudest but sounds the best. The Hindle is surprisingly quiet until about 6k.
