Suggestions on a full exhaust
Having to replace my 4-2-1 yoshimura system on my 2007 ZX 14. Might go back with the same, just wanted to know what you guys think on what's best. I know yoshimura isn't at the top of the list, but was a pretty good system. Thanks for you time.

I like the Arata the best. Seen them make more power than most on all kinds of bikes.

i recently purchased a full yoshi trc on line and shipped for $705.00 new. at first it sounded kind of weak but i found out you can remove the baffle/silencer and it sounds a whole lot better i mean it is not annoying loud but when you punch it, it screams. best price i found for any of the big brand names. check out pics

Thanks Steve-O, that's the same exhaust I have now. I like the sound and I am considering going back with that one. I have been considering the Micron Hydratech though.

Don't consider the Micron any more unless you can find a dealer with a left over they went BANKRUPT and are out of bussines!!!
Tried to contact them last week and found that out from Anitori dist.
love my Hydro tech system but you would have no warranty and or company to back it.

Wow, good looking out on that one. I have been going back and forth on it. My headers are not hurt at all. The midpipe only has a quarter sized dent, and the can has minimal dent with no scratches. I probably need to just get a new midpipe and can from Yoshimura and call it a day. Was just thinking I could go hard in the paint since I had an excuse to do so.

Anybody have a take on the Yoshimura R77? I really like the look of that system, just never heard it on anything. I'm looking for a deep rumbling sound.

One of my club members has that system. The top of the line, one. It sounds good and deep. He has the carbon can. He doesn't really open it up and has many cosmetic mods done, so I can't give you any idea as to performance gains. He has never been able to keep up with me.

Jeremy - how do you like the alienhead? Good fit? Sound? Power? What was the best price you found?

the more "open" any exhaust is the more power it is gonna make.
Also the louder is will be too.
I guess a moto GP full exhaust is probably the very best but will make your ears hurt on a long ride. LOL

My neighbors kid shot this. The sound is horrible, but maybe it will help a little. I kind of scared him when I blipped the throttle :)
Oh well, sorry guys, it didn't work

which company is this one ?

it looks great and it seems to work w/ the center stand addition.
Looking for alternatives, since Micron is supposedly under chapter 11.

Wow, I have been reluctant to browse the forum lately because of the events as of late. Kind of bittersweet, you know. For those who don't know, some criminal stole two of my bikes a couple weeks ago from my house. Anyway, I come back to see that one of my old threads has been dug up and getting a little action. Hope everyone is well. I'll be more active once my recovery period is up for my insurance and I have another ZX 14.
