shifter sticking in gear

Is anyone having a problem where thier zx14 is sticking in gear. I have a 2008SE with 1000 km's on it and it has stuck in gear 5 times. My clutch lever adjuster is set on 5 and I have changed it to 3 to see if it makes a difference and have not had it happen since I changed it. It's going in for it's first service this week and I have reported the problem to the dealership.

have not had that problem. i got about 1000miles on mine. I know if you get lazy in your shifting you can miss a shift as has happened to me. also you cant put the bike in neutral if its moving or if the revs are at high idle.

the bike would benefit from rear sets and a gp shift/reverse shift pattern.

adjusting the clutch lever probably as more to do with the size of your hand than anything else. your are not adjusting the actual clutch. thats not adjustable. you would have to take apart the clutch to make any real changes

the first time it happened I was cruising at 120 km/hr in 6th gear and I went to gear down but the shifter would not move I let out the clutch and tried it again and then it shifted. I then took out my bike the other night and it happened in 2nd/3rd and fourth. It only happens when I am gearing down not when I am shifting up.
