I just lowered mine today and used muzzys links since they specialize in Kawasaki. I will be posting pics soon on my thread (new member new zx14 silver)

As Dave says the muzzy product is nice I went with the Yanashiki links becuase they are polished alluminum and the muzzy's are gold tinted I wanted the bike to be blue black and chrome so it was an asthetic choice. If I buy them again though I'll go with Diamond Powersports they are highly polished and very well finished check them out! There are several brands of hardware to stretch with YanaShiki makes a nice set as well as Vortex, but remember you need to get a longer chain also with that as well as a longer rear brake line, consider a braided line they are better against expansion. you might have known, just throwin that out there in case)

Yeah the links made by Brock Davidson are very nice if you think you need to adjust the height alot, they are fully adjustable but fairly expensive. I found the height my bike is at is pretty good and should'nt need to be adjusted for a while I think most street apps wont need to adjust enough to need fully adjustable pieces but if you got the money they are nice to have and look sharp too.

I saw threaded dog bones on ebay for like a hundred bucks. They can be adjusted with a wrench. Anyone here using these?

Where did you see those I'd like to see them. Although the more I think about it I would find myself wandering if I didn't lower or raise one side more than the other?? and putting extra stress on one or the other side or running crooked

I lowered mine with a set of"3 hole adjustable bones",and found that the lowest setting was OK until I tried to "throw" the bike into a corner. It seemed to me that that setting put the steering balance of the bike "WAY OFF",... What I mean to say is that the front end seemed very heavy whilst turning. I placed the holes to give the bike a "2 inch drop" in the rear instead of 4",put on a set of heli bar risers. MAN WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! The bike handles beautifully(to me at least) in this configuration. I`ve rode the bike 14,000.0 kms and have found it to be reasonably comfortable. Just my 2 cents.
Ed.
P.S. I found the lowering links on EBAY ( approx 60 bucks if I remember)

Yeah

I when I first put on the links I tried the lowest setting and found myself way to close to the ground for a street bike that might someday have to cross a railroad or clear a pack of matches for that matter so I put it up to the second hole as well and find it handles as well as I can ride it.
