flies question

will removing the secondary flies eliminate the need to install a tre? will it void your warranty?

yeah if u remove the secondaries u dont need a tre they do the same thing, but if u get a tre get the GIPro tre it has the gear indicator for it, cause when u remove ur secondaries u lose ur gear indicator dats on ur dash

When you take out the flys, you don't lose your gear indicator 'dats on ur dash'.

I agree, too many shortcuts. Installing the tre is what makes your gear indicator read '6' most of the time, because the tre is telling the engine computer that the transmission is in 6th gear. This is what gives full engine power. However the OEM claims that it triggers the flies as well. How often and when? who knows. I have installed a ATRE w/gi, and plan to pull my flies as well, so I'll let you know what happens.

the tre should cause the flies to crack around 3000rpms instead of the factory 7000rpms
