I'm just curious how much other people are paying to get their bikes custom tuned. I'm running a full muzzy system with stock air filter and flies in. I'm using the map created by the folks at Dynojet but I'm getting a little popping while coming down in the RPM's.
After calling around to the tuning centers I've been quoted between 200.00 and 300.00 dollars. Is this inline with what you guys are paying. Is there anything I should be looking out for. Thanks for your help.
I got my power commander from FeulMoto.com If you buy the power commander from them, they will provide you with maps free from their library.
Tell them what kind of pipe you have, air filter, flys in or out, oil etc, and they will make you a map that matches that specs. They can do this because they have done it before on someone elses bike and have it in their library of maps.
That's pretty par for the course 150-350$ depending? for a tune and a few dyno runs with a printout and most will give you the map on your thumb drive also in case you lose the one in the PCIII
