just go to the http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...mdl=64&yr=2006
web site and download the no flys stock exhaust map, save it to your desk top and the pciii sw will pick it up, if not you can still put in the pciii program. Then just load it to you pc on your bike!

Mine came with a couple choices for that setup a couple different manufacturers of slipons like Muzzy and Hindle with flies out, and with or without factory filter? You can run the factory filter setup with an after market K&n or BMC they don't flow that much more air than the stock units. But If you don't have those I can send them to ya just pm me and I'll download them to you. Or you can download them from dynojet.com

My custom maps wouldn't be good for you I have a full system on mine.

Thanx for your help with my decision guys! Pulled them out yesturday and used one of the dynojet maps that came with the PCIII. MY GOD what a difference! its so much more fun to ride around town now! I cant believe i waited so long to do it. Will have to look into getting a steering damper now just to tidy up the front end a bit on these rough country roads. Thanx again guys. Be safe and GO BLUE!!!

Just noticing that your pic looks like you have a high mount pipe on your 14 is it still a stock header and collector with a slip on or did you change them? I ask because if you changed them you might look for a map that matches the system you are running or have one made for it that will also make a difference.

Might i suggest you go get yourself the PCIII LCD display. You will have a road running dyno with you. Map customization on the go. It better to get it instead of sending it to the shop and they charge you a bomb for it. I'm planning in doing the same....

Do you get enough feedback to know whether your close to your optimum 13.4 to 1 mixture ratio to be changin it on the fly? I haven't done much research on that unit to say. I guess I'm sayin do you have a refrence to even know what part of the map needs changing and what doesn't as your drivin around?

According to the dealer you can. I was thinking in PM'ing you to get additional input regarding this tempting matter. Since you said it openly, i guess i'm back to square one. Since i'm outstation at the moment, so i can't be seeing them yet. Anyone got any info?

I'll check into them I think it's the one I looked at recently but like I said without that performance feedback from the bike ie. exhaust temp, oxygen, and co level info I figured the unit could'nt give me enough info to make an acurate change one way or another. There are the units like the busa has where you can switch between three different maps that would be helpful if you track dayed and drove the streets on the same bike. But you still need to have two maps at least in it. I'll see what I can find and maybe we'll get some feedback here also. Cheers.

Hey guys. yeah the rocket still has stock headers. Got her booked in for the dyno this weekend just to get the mapping checked, if its pretty close ill leave it for now cos of my cash situation and get a full one done later. Costs me $80aus a run on the dyno out here. Keep me posted on those LCD displays, sonunds interesting. Thanx guys.

Finally, I got the info. In order to reap of the bikes potential, we ought to have 3 things. They are :-
1. Power Commander
2. Wide Band commander
3. LCD Display

General Explanation......

The one thing i'm uncomfortable is that both the PCIII and wideband are standalone units and cannot be integrated into 1. It means that you have to disconnect and reconnect the LCD display for each PCIII and wideband one at a time to use it unless you have 2 LCD display. The information retrieved from the Wide Band Commander can be used to adjust the Power Commander's map.

Excellent. I also did a litlle checking and the Lcd does give you the option of switching between three different maps, and displays all the PcIII info on screen, and as you said you can adjust maps but looks a bit crazy to get the info you need to make those adjustments with out the multiple units?

You know what, my dealer recommended me get the full Dynojet range add-ons if you want to tap the full potential of the bike. They are :-

1. Power Commander III USB
- Allows full range of fuel management
2. Wideband Commander
- Gather AFR (air fuel ratio) with data recording
3. Multifunction Hub (with map switch & handlebar bracket)
- Allow access to advanced features like hardware map switching, gear position, relay
& input/output from the module.
4. Ignition Module
- Advance and retarding of ignition timing and (my favourite) extending the rev range
from factory default.
5. LCD Display
- View and modify every single fuel setting you want.

My main problem now is not enough goddam CASH to invest into that proposition. Anybody want to give me some?

Damn I was about to ask you the same thing. I don't have time to use all that stuff I'll be to busy working to pay for it all!! Besides not to sure i wan't anything else on that area of th ebike that display looks a bit big for my taste. I however wouldn't mind being able to switch between a few different maps. That would be tit's
