ZX12R on the Dyno

In 2 hours I'm going to have my '01 ZX12R dyno'd.

Performance Mods:
Full HFM exhaust
OEM air filters modified: basically the foam is removed and now they consist only of screens
smog pump converted to crankcase vacuum pump
USB power commander
Map that matches the air intake mods
Fresh spark plugs
Fresh oil/filter

Other Mods:
Chrome wheels
Flush mount signals
Fender elim kit
Lowered 1.5 inches
MPS air shifter with auto shift box
Aftermarket dark tinted wind screen
Shinko sticky rear tire (not yet mounted)
Shinko low profile 60 series front tire (not yet mounted)

So tonight we'll see what she'll do running on leaded race gas. The guy who worked on the bike and owns the dyno says I'll pick up 5 HP if I were to run VP MR9 race fuel, but we'll see how it does on the leaded. We're hoping to see 150 on the dyno. Expecting to see atleast 145. The guy who did the work and is dynoing it says that he usually gets slightly lower results than other people claim. He's not sure if its because his dyno reads a little low (all dynos vary from each other) or because others are inflating their numbers.

So later on tonight I'll post up pics of the bike on the dyno and the results.
Tom

Back from the dyno. First some Pics of the bike. I think it looks awesome lowered.

Now some on the dyno.

Now the results! Well when they told me to hope for 150 they must have been pulling my leg. We ripped off 165 HP and 92 ft-lbs of torque. I'm very happy with the results.

Services provide by the guys at BPRO in Crestwood, Illinois.
Billy Pehanich and his young protoge Brian.

THANKS BPRO !!!

I had no fear that it would perform very well on the dyno..when I had it I put it on one of the mobile dynos and I think it showed 178hp/96ft/lbs but I kind of thought it was inflated a liitle as it was for a Harley rally a few of my buddies I ride with invited me to. I will tell you this when I had a 2000 Hayabusa with the exact same mods this 12R felt alot faster. I would love to take it out again now that it is lowered and it would be easier to keep the front wheel on the ground. I cant wait to see your 1/4 mile times this spring, get those BMC race filters and you should see more. Congrats Tom and it is looking sharp...but hey man wipe those wheels down...you can't be pimp with dusty chrome wheels..

Yeah, its been sitting in the BPRO shop for weeks and has been picking up dust. I'm gonna trailer it home in a day or two and get to cleaning. Once I get it looking tip top again I'm gonna cover it up and pray for a fast winter to end.

Wow!

That's a sick lookin' 12R. When you lowered the 12 did it affect your handling and performance at all?
