Good Price ?

Hey guys Im new to the ZX forum and was wondering about the price for a mint 2003 zx12r with 3800 miles on it..not 1 scratch all stock stickers still on the bike and paperwork plus tools for 6k....Its a dark plum color with gold rims...is that a stock color or a special order or something?

That paint job sounds like it's aftermarket. I don't recall 12R's having a dark plum color. For $6,000 it sounds not too bad, but I would go to www.kbb.com to check out the blue book value of it.

Ok I see the price is good and the color is stock...they call it special pearl black or something...lol... with gold rims.

I bought mine from a Co-worker. He did some mods on it already so I didn't have to do it except for the indepth mods. He put on a Full Race Akrapovic Exhaust System, PC III, K&N Air Filter and I paid $6,500 U.S. for it. But it's still going strong. Especially for a 7 year old bike.

Bought a new ZX-12R in 03 which came with the dark red like color, gold wheels and a gold chain. Bike is still stock with appx., 4,000 miles on it.
