Can neutral finder be overcome?

Can the positive neutral finder that doesn't allow shifting into neutral while rolling be eliminated somehow? I hate being in traffic rolling at 5-10mph and not being able to shift into neutral to relieve holding in the clutch.

Yes. I have a '01 ZX12R. I was having the same problem but have now found that its all in the technique. I could never get it in neutral on a roll. With a little practice I can now do it every time. You just have to get the feel for it. Pull in the clutch and give a light pull on the shifter. Light and short so you don't hit 2nd. Keep trying, you'll get the feel for it and then it will be easy.

My ZX11 have the neutral finder and I can shift in neutral anytime while rolling. I suppose some practice is needed then...
