It's about time to call it a night but I'm close to having this beast roaring again.

All the fluids are topped off and there are no leaks.

The battery is charging and I have to connect the fuel return line and then I should be able to fire this thing up tomorrow.

Everything is closed up, sealed and ready to fire.

This is about the time I start thinking of all the stuff I want to do during the next round of mods on this bullet. I've got some stuff rolling around in my head but I was wondering what you guys think. Anyone have any ideas for mods on this thing?

Won't hear it run today. I found a broken wire and I need to source a new connector.

You should add a small pouch to carry a stash of "Get Out of Jail Free" cards.

Thursday is my next day off and I plan to ride as much of the day as possible so you're welcome to come on out and go riding with me.

Beautiful beast you have there. I bought a 2000 ZX12R and the wires leaving the rectifier heat up and melt. 2 shops charge $350 and $450 each and couldn't fix it. It has 19.6k miles. I love the ride but it's been a hangar queen since last Nov. They replaced 4 reg/rectifiers and a stator. It's forsale on KSL.com for $3500. If anyone can repair it I would sure like to keep it. My number is 8012145733.

Nice job - where did you get the muzzys relocation parts? Or, how long ago. I need the part for the block since my turbo header is in the way too. They have the best one but they are closed and hoping to find someone who has one that's been on the shelf. Thanks Jim

He didn't get those though. There may be one that will work, but I have to try later. I am planning on making some for my two ZX12R dry sump race engines.

BuildFan here from BuildThreads, Inc.

Congrats and nice work, 2fat2fly - this build thread was chosen as a Best Build Thread pick for this week.

What this means is that a bunch of guys who like to build stuff (cars, trucks, 4x4s, bikes, cabins, boats, planes, and garages) and have read a ton of build threads, thought that this build thread makes a valuable contribution to online DIY culture.

So, without further ado:

Head over to BIKEBUILDS.NET for more outstanding builds!

The Cruising Missile is waiting patiently for it's next round of mods which are coming. Right now I'm in the middle of a garage re-hab. Here's the link to it:
