Arrow ok who got some good info on building zx12 motors

I got a 2000 I am building
& want it done right so am asking what is the best way to build
this motor.
I would like it to have 200hp to the back tire
no NOS. I was thinging a 1270 kit would put me up around that with cams & some headwork I would like to do something to help with the oiling problem
I have heard about not geting enuff to the crankshaft in hard accretion or wheeling
any help thanks

I've been told to steer clear of the Muzzy kits. 12's are known for weak clutches, so definitely put money in the clutch. Make sure the bottom end is tough. Carillo rods. Not sure about the stock crank or an aftermarket one. Replace the studs. A friend of mine is building a turbo 12. APE makes 1/2 inch studs for a Busa that can be shortened and used in the 12. Also, on the 12 you have to split the cases to replace the starter clutch so make sure that is new before you put it together. Make sure to have your trans done (all my dragrace friends us R&D trannys). They've also had a lot of luck with JP coated pistons. The list goes on and on. You could easily put 10 grand in this motor.

Sure, if you want to turn your crankcases into shrapnel.

Here im pointing at the mounting point on the motor. It just some flat bar 1 inch wide about 2 inches in leanth on both sides. They have to mounted to the motor first, then to the frame.Your battery box has to notch out not much ,cause its a small hump on the motor its keeping the motor for going up about 1/2 inch.
