I need to know what the best slip on would be for my 2000 a1. A good friend just put a d and d full on his zrx 1100 and I like how that sound but you cant even hear my bike now. I cant have that. If I have to Ill put the pc on it. I dont want to loose power for the sake of sound. Been looking at muzzy, hindel,arka, d and d. Thanks. Redsled.
I like the sound of the stock 12R. It doesn't get much louder than D&D. Muzzy used to be synonymous with kawasaki. Yoshimura makes quality pipes. They are only loud at high RPM. Maybe the Akrapovic is still being made for your bike.
I cut the baffle out of the stock can and it sounds a bit louder than stock, and was free. I still have to clean it up a bit but it sure sounds nice. If you ever want eardrum-shattering loud, just remove the muffler and put on a pipe.
Run a bolt on Hidle on mine (picotte performance) love the sound, friend has a two brothers he was selling?? just across the border from you in New Brunswick Canada, let me know if you are interested will send the contact info
My opion better if they here you coming up beside them, stock exhaust just don't have that affect
