Can p.c. be used to de-tune?

It might seem like a ridiculous question for 99 percent of the people on this board, why would I want to neuter a stud like the 12.
Well because I am trying to think of a way to make my second bike be something my son can ride with me and his mother to California this summer and still be a second bike that will keep me entertained.
So I figured if there were a way to re-map the beast into something suitable for a lightly experienced 18 year old it might be worth looking into.
What do you all think?

I don't think it can do what you want. I mean, you could plug in a map that makes it run like crap but that isn't helping anyone. And it's not like you can add or lower the speed limiter or anything with it.

you can detune marginally, I had 2 maps on my last gsxr with the pc 3, I had a map for the track that gave me a dynoed 131rwhp and a second map done for fuel milage that only gave 119rwhp. bike still ran smooth under both maps. but I dont think you can detune as much as you want to.

you could get an aftermarket rev limiter and set it really low. make it hit the limiter at like 8500 or 9000. Then when you ride set it like 11000. I think the stock limiter is 11200 or 11500.
