stator burnout żx12r 2001 A2

Beware when changing the gasket on the stator cover. There is a hole in part of the gasket that allows oil to flow over the stator to keep in cool.this hole on an OEM gasket is TOO SMALL and needs to be made larger before fitting to the cover otherwise the stator does not recieve enough oil to keep it cool.2 burnt out stators in 200 miles later I found this out.Made hole larger plus another new stator and regulator, solder up connections in plug as signs of overheating of plug in connections 1500 miles later all ok now.

Loggy 0012r wires melting

Mine is forsale now since it sits in the garage. It's on I sure wish a good mechanic was in or near UT. $900 later and 4 rectifiers and a stator and the shops here can"t fix it. Even offered to refund. Any help is good. 8012145733
