Yea all is well now, the oil light was flickering at idle after getting off the interstate one night.
Its not like I had a light and continued running it. I pulled over and it locked up. Owned......

The new motor ran 9.7 at 140 with timing mod and filter only.

Okay well I almost can't believe it but the motor is blown up again. Crazy thing is I had about 5000 miles on it since the install same as the first.
I don't know if this motorcycle hates me or has a predisposition for being a piece of shit.
Coming home on the interstate my Oil light began to Flickr. I Immediately let off the throttle And the light extinguished.
Friggin sucks and looks like I'm going to end up rebuilding one of the two motors apparently the oiling system on this bike is shit

I'm sorry to hear your having engine issues, but I can tell you the oiling system isn't shit on the 12's. My 12 has been extensively modified and the oiling system is also feeding a turboo and I have not experienced an engine failure, yet. I don't have any idea what's going on with your's so I'm not going to play Monday morning quarterback but I really do hope you get it figured out though. If you're going to build that beast please start a build thread on here.

It's either leaking oil or burning oil

2.8 qts.? The 14, a very similar motor takes 4.8.

It may be a pig, but it's a pig with a rocket in it's ass!

Okay I pulled the crank out and examined all of the journals apparently number three Rod gave up. The Crankshaft mains all look great. I'll upload some pictures here shortly.
I think I want to get Pistons 13 1/2 to one still debating whether I should do Carrillo Rods or not.
I want to keep it a budget build

If you use the stock rods then I strongly recommend you change the connecting rod bolts. That is THE weak link inside the 12's engine cases.

Yeah I'm going to use the stock Rods I'm just contemplating Pistons.
Who's got the killer deal on a piston and ring head gasket combo 83 mm 13 1/2 to 1?
Also who's the man on head porting?

Okay I'm going with the Wiseco 13.5 Pistons with rings for about $550.
I sent my crankshaft out to Marine in California going to be around $400 for that.
Bearings are roughly $200.
And I'm going to lightly port the head.
Oh in a new oil pump obviously the old one has a decent size nick. Let me see if I can get some pictures
