I got a 01 zx and got beat out by a gsxr 1000 .. he was stretched and had sprocket tdr box pipe and cams. we ran 3 times,.. i got him once but he took win. My problem is getting on it with out front hitting sky.. I was wondering what is best set up swing arm + gear set up for my bike ..only mods so far is muzzy slip on pipe air filter.. I dont want this to be drag only bike.. i still want to be able to corner a little.. lol but i cant have a kid on a stack beat me like that.. lol thank for any help and advice..

I have a front end strap on my ZX12R. With stock swing arm and -1 tooth in the front and nose strapped all the way down I'm not having any wheelie problems. Strap is about 40 bucks.
