just bought a 12 salvage title!

It sounds good right? well the guy fixed all of the problems and it's better then ridable but he did not keep any receipts. The state of Indiana will not do a salvage rebuild without reciepts from the old owner? WTF? I have a perfectly good bike that I will not be able to tag and ride. Has anyone ran into this problem? if so what did you do?

Thanks in advance.

Ok! Does anyone know what the inspection for "salvage rebuild "cover? I know it may very from state to state. However I'm just wanting to know do I have to let the officer take my baby for a spin to find out if the speedo works? My speedo gets wacky after about 40 MPH. I plan on getting a new one much later. I have blinkers in the front and the ones in the single tail peace but not on the side of my tail. WIll this be enough? Lastly the bike does not have neutral but has all of the other gears! will this affect the outcome of the inspection?

I have all receipts for the very little work I had to do to this bike to get her up and running. What are they looking for? any and all advice and help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Your title....

Call your county Courts office and inquire about a leu (sp) of title. What they will do is have you fill out paper work from you and the owner you bought it from who ever is on the title, and then notorize it. The cost is pending could be about 255 bucks to do it. What they do is file with the judge wait about 30days if no objections are heard, they refile and another 30 or less goes by, after that they give you a leu of title you take to the county the bikes registerd in, and get the court orderd title put in your name...Im going threw this as of right now.
