zx12r lowering?

got a 12r from a buddy and he would ride with his wife on the back so the rear seat is set super high i was wondering how i would lower it back down? and if i needed a special tool i have an idea on how to do it but i need to advice

if it has adjustable dog bones pull the bolt out move it up.
