It`s a 2001.

The oil light flickers at odd times, then goes away. Even at 3000-4000 rpm or higher. Then it stops for a while. Wierd.

As long as the light doesn't stay on steadily, don't sweat it. The pickup sensor that controls the light can sometimes starve and cause the light to flicker.

Hey, thanks for that.

I am still a bit nervous. I replaced the oil pressure sensor thinking that was the problem, but it still comes on occasionally at odd times.

I dunno....

Would a partially plugged oil filter do that?

Oil filters don't normally get plugged up. They are made with a bypass that allows oil to flow despite contamination restricting flow. More than likely, your flickering oil light is probably just an annoyance and not something to be overly concerned about.
