I am also interested... for my 01 zx-7r.

BTW, can stainless steel brake lines rub on your farings and damage them?

No they're inside a lexan tube.although you should check the routing to avoid rubbing.Ive put braided steel on all my bikes and the galfer SS lines are by far the best.they're the ones with no banjo at the caliper.

so do you have to install your own banjo switch for the brake light.

Don't know anybody running the Goodridge but I know a few running the Galfer and all are very happy. One is an 01 12r also and he loves them. I think I'll be switching mine this spring also to Galfer.

I have Goodridge stainless on my 11 - front and rear. Look good, never a prolem in 19k miles. Like Juan wrote, they are encased in plastic. I can't see why either brand would be bad or that one is better than the other...

I bought some Kevlar Goodridge lines and snapped the banjo bolt. It wasn't from improper install. The banjo was a very light steel unit and they had problems with it.

I then bought some Galfer SS lines with a quality stainless steel banjo and it worked great.

The SS lines bolt directly into the calipers so you get more efficient flow.I noticed a big difference over the standard banjo set up.
