i finnaly had a chance to rebuild my carbs and the stupid runners on the intake box wont fit in the carbs. i guess they shrunk from the heat. has anyone had this problem before or know of any fixes. i ordered a used air box but it was the same problem. cuz i know they need to be sealed good for it to run.
Can you post a pic or two? I don't know what you mean by runners. I know the D is different, but not so different someone can't help you. I thought the airbox sat flat against the o-rings on the back of the carbs, not inside.
