What brand of chambers are still available? I used to run Denco's but they're dead since decades...

Well i made 2 easy passes on the bike. trans shifted good and ran ok. 2 step switch broke so we couldn't launch off of the 2 step. after 2 passes i asked my son if he was ready to try it. he was a little nervous. the biggest thing he has ridden is a yz125 and my raptor. he has never been on a big bike. i told him to shut off at the 1/8 th mile if it was getting to fast for him. well that was dumb. he made 3 passes.
1st pass was 11.77@ 133 mph
2nd pass was 11.05@137.
3rd pass was 10.68@142. .
60 foot times were over a second off. that would have made the 3rd pass a easy 9.68. i think he ready to race next season. here is a video. sorry its so shaky, i wasn't recording it.

Neat bike:
What are different things on the left handle bar and what do the switches, lights on the "dash" do and what is the rectangular light bar below the dash?

Ok, but you have to let the kid race you, I'm getting to old for that.

there is a air gage for the air shifter and the button for the air shifter are on the left bar. lights are a oil pressure light and a shift light. the rectangular box is part of the dyna 4000 ign system, it controls the high rpm limit, launch rpm's, test modes and activates the 2 step. wheels are performance machine.

Are you running a strut on the rear? Can you show us a pic of it(strut) and a shot of your air shift cylinder top mount? Why aren't you riding it?

Yes its a strut, i will see if i can get some pics of it. top mount is just a tapped hole with a lock nut. has worked great for years. I am not riding anymore because i have back issues right now and i always promised my son he was going to ride it. can't lie to him can i? My goal was to get it into the 8's om motor and i did it, after that i lost the drive i had. looking for a chrome moly chassis for myself.

If its too much trouble don't bother. I think we all know what a strut looks like. What I would like to know is did you use your stock "links" and how long your strut is. I am still using a shock (with lowering links) because I love riding on the street but I think a strut would be a BIG improvement on the track.
By the way your bike looks great. I would love to run a true slick and bars on mine later. Way to go in getting your son interested in M/C dragracing!
