Zero Gravity ST Windshield

I just bought a Zero Gravity Sport Touring windshield for my 99 ZX11. The interesting thing is that the new ZG ST windshield is EXACTLY the same height as the stock OEM windshield. I thought the Sport Touring was supposed to be a couple of inches taller than the stock OEM windshield. Has anyone else made the same observation?

Hmmm... you must have received the wrong screen. What p/n did you receive?

# 20-271 : SR (OEM replacement)
# 16-271 : Double bubble
# 23-271 : Sport touring

So you probably got a part badly identified. Any comparative pics with OEM screen?

Got what I paid for. You can see the difference and I certainly notice the difference while riding. If it's no improvement, send it back and get something taller still.

Stock ....... & ..... Zero Gravity ST

Claude,

When I lay one on top of the other, it's like it was cut from the exact same "cookie cutter" as the OEM windscreen. Maybe ZG is giving Kawasaki a commission on each and every one of these that they produce? The only difference I see is the smoke tint, and the lack of Kawasaki part information on the bottom near the mounting holes. Hmmmmm!

Jack, if it is the same exact shape as OEM, then it MUST be a SR series. Sport-touring have a different shape for sure.

the ST has a slight flip at the top. I prefer the double bubble. I didnt find the ST offered significantly more protection, and not as good overall as DB
