OEM Exhaust Differences

I'm looking to replace my damaged stock exhaust on my '99 ZX11 with that of an earlier model, I believe it's a '94 or '95. My mufflers have a Model Specific part number code, which is 3031100. The replacement mufflers Model Specific part number code is 2351100. The finish on the earlier year's exhaust mufflers seems to be less of a chrome finish, and more of a duller, stainless steel, or nickel finish. Was there ANY difference in the finishes on the stock mufflers from 1993 to 2001? Should they all have the same exact bright chrome finish? I do know that the part numbers are exactly the same for all of those model years. Thanks

1993-2001 ZX11D model have chromed mufflers.
1990-1993 ZX11C model have brushed mufflers.
All those systems are physically interchangable.
However, Kawasaki said the D exhaust was freer flowing than C it was replacing so, I woud use a D system on a C but not the opposite.
