Question Gear Shift Problem

Hey there i am working on a 96 i layed it down from a wheelie then i had to replace the left front peg mount because it broke and now i fixed that. My bike starts so i started it and shifted down from third gear back to neutral now for some reason the bike will only shift into 1rst gear and neutral although i have not actually rode the bike after fall due to the throttle sleeve breaking from the fall also so i am trying to shift from a sitting position and i am wondering did i not adjust the foot shifter link correctly or is it because the bike is sitting that it wont shift i have not yet got the whole bike moving due to the throttle and the fairings broke but i need to know what i can do to fix if something needs to be fixed or from laying the bike down could it be a tranny problem i layed it down in 3rd gear. Thank you for your time

Agreed, this is the Kawasaki positive neutral finder working perfectly. Honestly, I seriously doubt you damaged anything mechanical from the crash you describe.

Possibly could be your valves maybe its just time for a tune up. Have it looked at by a mechanic asap before it gets worse thats my only advice.
