RECENTLY I'VE BEEN HEARING A VERY LOW TAPPING SOUND IN THE ENGINE OF MY 1995 ZX11 D ONLY WHEN ITS IDLING.IT ONLY HAS 10200 MILES ON IT. OTHER THAN THAT IT RUNS BEAUTIFULLY. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM?
Have you had a valve adjustment and if not that will be your problem out of spec valve clearence . if you have it could also be the cam chain tenisoner but nort likley very few have failed . send me a PM and ill give you my # to talk you through looking it over
What part of Alabama do you live in? I am from Huntsville and also happen to have a '95 zx11. If you cant resolve the tapping I would be more than willing to come take a look and see if I can figure it out.
