Nothing but a joke , good long time friend whos HPD we met for lunch while he was on duty and it is just a photo op to yank chains on another motorcycle board . i have a habbit for big high speed tickets .
140 in a 60 on a farm to market road and in 05 165 in a 65 , both on a highy modified ZRX1200R . the 140 ticket he hit me @ 172 but thought his radar was wrong and hit me again to make sure but i saw him and pulled over in front of him before he rolled out to get me . I never run just take my ticket with a smile and good attitude .
One fast wet weight of 430 pound 148 hp with FCR carbs ZRX 139 with stockers geared 17/39 to help keep the front end down stock gearing 17/42 most run 17/44 most rex's weight 510 wet with lighter pipe and parts .
4 years building that ZRX . went 10.304 @ 138mph stock motor / wheelbase .
Would run high 9's after motor work

Did you have to prime the parts with anything before you sprayed the bedliner? Great idea! Looks like carbon fiber & I'll bet is way more durable than stock. What do you do to clean it? Just hose it off? Great looking bike. You're inspiring me to start messin' with mine! On board compressor? Where's it mounted?

No priming just scuff parts , clean and shoot . $ 135 bucks at the local truck place to do all my parts after i preped them . Cleaning is simmple scrub brush and hose , no scratches to worry about its rubber . it also made all body pannels stiffer . compressor is under the seat in the back tail section .
I recently bottomed out with my girl friend on the back ( the one in my avitar ) drug the lowers and dented the muzzy pipe , but it didnt even scratch the bed linner

Another thread had mentioned the bed liner paint job and I have to admit I mocked the idea. Now it's time to eat my words (I'm used to it). What you've done looks way better than I expected. Great job. Also very cool to see someone take one of these great bikes out of disrepair and put it back on the street where it belongs. Bravo!
Thanks for the pics and keep us posted on further upgrades.

Can't read the name on the new tank filler cap. Who's is it, it looks great. Also, is there a reason (other than aesthetic) to use the ZX7 master cylinders? I do like the look, but am curious.
I just recieved my Mr. T bypass oil pan last week, but am still waiting on a few things before I can put it on. Pretty significant changes, it looks good.
Thanks again for the updates.

Protech cap by the way if your installing the Mr turbo pan they have a slight warp after he welds the pan for the bypass line to feed # 3 and #4 directly and not using the J TUBE any more the pan will leak even with a new pan gasket so use a touch of Black RTV on the right front corner to mid pan on the throttle side only . Also dont remove the engine balancer its only good for 1 to 2 hp on the dyno but you pick up bad vibes from 3600 to 4800 RPMS .
You also have to notch the lower case for the # 4 feed . Stuff blue shop towels in case and use a 18 tooth to 24 tooth saw sall blade by hand lower portion wraped in tape . No dremal tool because it throws shavings every were . cut two notches and use a pair pliers to snap off the portion to be removed from the case . dont worry its thin on the lower case and it works i have done 10 plus Mr turbo bypass pans on ZRX's an zx11's

I have a Mr. T pan on my bike and have put about 20K on the engine under high rev conditions, so far #3 rod hasn't acted up. BTW, you have to remove the oil-by-pass hose to change oil. But its worth the hassle to have the Mr. T pan in place.

Great idea with the saw blade. Thanks for sharing your experience. The two oil stand tubes were forgotten by Mr. Turbo so I'm waiting on those to install the pan. Plus I'm out of town till late next week, so it seems like it's taking forever to get things done!

C10, In another thread as well as here you mention shedding some weight on the 11. Wheels and an aftermarket exhaust are big hitters, but what other things have you done?
Just curious since I'm already at a 200+lb disadvantage to you without even considering the bike. And yes, I've heard of Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers.

Stick coils drop weight over stock with brakets , extra locks and going to a lighter gas cap , stock mirrors , bar end weights , master cylinders , tires , fuel tank sending unit , passenger pegs , lose one horn /braket , brake lines / spliter , battery , tool kit , as it is junk anyway i only carry tools on cross country runs and i bring good tools , rear fender if you like , go with smaller coolant over flow bottle , emmisions and instead of using block off plates weld the holes closed in the valve cover , remove sound damper behind clutch cover , replace counter shaft sproket cover with light weight model like mine , lighter sprokets/chain replace wire routing brakets with custom bent alum ones , damperless clutch hub and alum clutch plates . thats just a start of the sickness lol
