water in oil

my bike has been sitting up for a year. was running fine when i left it. i was putting water in it and oily water shot out of the crankcase vent. its got to be coming from the cooling system. i dont think that a blown headgasket could put that much water into the motor in the 5 mins i ran the bike to fill the radiator. the motor has less than 4000 miles on it. i spent 4000 on the motor. its been bored, oversized cams stage three jets, and the gears have been resized and backcut. could it be the waterpump? any info would be very helpful. i have invested about 7 grand in this bike and i cant afford anymore major repairs.

maybe its not blown....or torqued down rite...

either way...water in oil in ANY machine is not good and a result of bad maintenance, abuse or being put together wrong..

If your bike was sitting for a year with WATER in the cooling system, chances are something froze and broke and now the WATER you're adding is pouring straight through to the crankcase. Hate to say it, but I think your engine is fucked.

Just in case you meant 'Coolant', yes there is a seal between the water pump shaft and the crankcase, and yes that could be your issue.

Agree. There's an o-ring on the water pump body that goes between engine oil and coolant circuit. As soon as you find coolant in your oil or oil in your coolant, this is the first place to check.
