I am new to this forum. I am run a shop in the Denver, Co area called SuperTune Motorsports (
www.supertunemotorsports.com) and am in process of rebuilding a 94 ZX11 D engine for a customer. I am installing a worked Falicon Supercrank, and mm overbore J&E forged pistons. We are assembling the engine and working with the factory service manual. The information in the manual on timing the counterbalance shaft to the crankshaft is not clear.
I think I have figured out how to align the multiple marks on the counterbalence shaft & crank, but want to be sure (for all the nice parts and work we are doing on this bike... we don't want it blowing up!!)
Does anyone know how to properly set these? Clear directions would be appreciated.
BTW: While I am new to this site, I have worked on many different bikes and engines. I would like to particiapte in this site and feel I have a lot to offer in technical help in many areas.
