'94 ZX11 stalls when hot

I have a '94 ZX11, I just changed the plugs, the bike starts great idles well in my driveway, but when I get out on the road, it stalls and loses power when I throttle over 3200 RPM. The only way I can get home is to keep the choke on full and limp my way back. Does anyone have an idea as to what is the matter or how to fix this? I should point out that it was doing this before I changed tha plugs... that's why I changed them. Three out of the four plugs were sopping in oil and the fourth was loaded in black soot!

Cheers,
Greg

buy a bike thats not 15 years old, seriously, you have timing, vacuum or fuel problems there, or maybe worse, how many miles are on that old thing?

Sounds like carbs to me. Probably need a good cleaning. Might have a look at the fuel filter too. Good luck!

Most definitely a fuel starvation issue. No carb trouble there. Start with the fuel pump relay...very quick and easy fix. if its not that then its ur fuel pump. Change ur fuel filter also and check for clogs...its right in line just b4 the pump which is all under the tank. Got nice ones at r&s strauss or whatever chain is in ur area for a few bucks..under$10. Do not! I reapeat..DO NOT! Use the newer little cone filters that they will sell u at the bike shop bcuz they r too small and u will put too much stress on ur pump and blow that or another relay. The relay is clipped on the battery. 20 bucks brand new..free or 10 bucks at a local repair shop.

The best/easy part about these parts is that they r not bolted on. They slip on via rubber belt to metal clips. Slip of replace and slip back on..no tools needed except to remove the tank which is 4 bolts. Need any help..provided its not too late..and u have fixed already.. Lemme know.
