I wear Shoei's. Love everything about them. Currently wearing a Shoei RF1000, silver. Cost, $350. Love it, worth the money and more.

the RF1000 is a real quiet helmet. it is also not very heavy. great helmet.

the X11 is about the same. just has better venting and more of a track worthy helmet.

i ride with a RX7. its louder then the shoei's but has GREAT venting.
also i find Arai's graphics alittle better.

passenger helmet is a Suomy Vandal. VERY Light but pretty loud. Amazing looking helmet.

if i was you, id go with a Arai Q2, rf1000, or tzr

I have used a scorpion helmet for about 3years now. It fits my type of head very well. It was also a very good price for the features it has.

Well I am kinda ill at Arai. I currently have a Asral X (the only shell they have that fits me good). I am tired of buying those damn sheild covers on the sides. They break and i cant get them in my graphix design. I have an rf 800, 900 like it but and the 1000 is probably a little better but I am realy loving the built in sun viser on the Scorpion.

With better venting, do you know if X11 is noisier than RF1000?

I just got a new Bell Apex Ripper Matte White.
Love it.
It has a LOT of ventilation.
Just what I need around here.

Here is a review of the Apex helmet.

Hope this helps ya out.

Dont fall for the gimmick, hype or fashion trend.
(unless ya want to)
More money does not always mean better lid.

Extreme Supply: Bell Sprint http://www.extremesupply.com/essnowmain

Motorcycle Super Store: Bell Apex http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/

These helmets are Snell approved and the quality is excellent. The sizes vary because they are close outs. They are also very inexpensive.

I have two black Bell Sprint models and they are very nice.
