Something may be draining the battery with everything turned off. Check for current draw at the battery with the key off. If there is anything like a clock or other electrical device that's been added, disconnect before checking. If there is no static drain, there has to be a problem in the charging system. Fixing the wire probably didn't fix what caused it to burn. Charge output should be closer to 13.2 volts with the motor revved.
