Low altitude power gain.

I have A 94 zx-11 and live in A area with a average of 5600 ft elevation. I have a muzzy pipe and have changed # 1 and 4 jets to 158 and 2 and 3 to 155 I did not change the pilots but do have them turned out 3.5 turns. I thought my bike ran fairly strong untill I brought it to michigan with me on A trip. In my normal area at 5600 ft if I roll on at 30 mph with the bike in first the bike accelerates hard and it feels like the tire is skimming the ground. Here in michigan at 520 ft or so if I roll on at 30 in first the tire instantly lifts off. Does any one have A idea how I can get this power back at home.

I have a dynojet kit in mine, at 800 ft with 155's in all. It does just that, I have to modulate the throttle in first to keep the front in check but after that it just "pond skips" in second. In second just "blip" the clutch at 8000-9000 and its "on" again so I plug third. I talked to dynojet about my trip out west and there diff. in "high altitude only settings". There is only one, the main jet size. It is a 150, all other settings are same. Bottom line, it might be the air "is" better down here. Dynojet was spot-on with my settings they recommended. Tailpipe and plugs are "nice" .

I think you are correct in that the altitude I live at just robs power. When I get home I am going to try leaning it out a little more jets are cheap enough to mess with.
